Artist Felix Weihs de Weldon (April 12, 1907–June 3, 2003) was an American sculptor. His most famous piece is the Marine Corps War Memorial of five U.S. Marines and one sailor raising the flag of the United States on Iwo Jima during World War Two.

It's a definite must see and even more special if you go when the Marines are doing the Sunset Parade.
This gave me chills. But then again, anything remotely "motivated" gives me chills. Damn straight there will be a Marine Corps for the next 500 years!! Oorah :)
