This is my story of how I have done at letting go of some things. I started this blog when my son was in High School , during a deployment and facing big life changes. I have come out the other side of those changes. Emptynest, long since empty. Our son is now a Lt in the USMC and now we are facing exiting the Marine Corps possibly in the next few years. One thing I have learned is life is constantly in flux, so this is my life...in flux.

Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard - How far will you go
This was a great experience for my husband, our son and myself. We love Embassy Duty and the friends we made all over the world.
What an awesome commercial! That's something my husband and I would love! I've always wanted to go visit other countries. What rank do you have to be to qualify for embassy duty?
Reagan, Your hubs would go out as a detachment commander since all watch standers are single Marines. To be a detachmant commander your hubs needs to be a SSgt. It is a great duty and I would highly suggest you doing it as soon as you can!

I've seen that commercial! I thought it was pretty good!
Thanks for sharing!
Wow, Incredible! I Almost with my husband didn't have his tattoos, so he could do that.
Holly it is a fantastic duty. My hubs has tats but none you can see in uniform. We did have Marines with tats, but no sleeves or anything like that.
