FOXNews.com - Thieves Steal Mojave Desert Memorial Cross in Nighttime Heist

I have been following this story for a long time, and I have to say this breaks my heart. I have no idea how some people could be so cruel. This was a promise made, for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, for those that did this cowardly deed. I really am speechless.
This is my story of how I have done at letting go of some things. I started this blog when my son was in High School , during a deployment and facing big life changes. I have come out the other side of those changes. Emptynest, long since empty. Our son is now a Lt in the USMC and now we are facing exiting the Marine Corps possibly in the next few years. One thing I have learned is life is constantly in flux, so this is my life...in flux.

I am infuriated by this! That just isn't right! Some people are just sick
Emily, I am as well. I just don't understand why some people don't get it. I really don't. This wasn't about "religion" this wasn't about anything except a promise made, a mans need to honor his brothers that didn't come home, period. When we start spitting in the face of our bravest (again) something is wrong in this country. This cross meant a lot and should have been left alone.
this is so sad. some people don't understand to let things be and respect others.
Tag your it, award on my blog! :o)))
I cannot believe how sick & disrespectful people are!
